Built so that even we cannot see your data

Every protection claim below is technically verifiable. This is architecture, not policy.

No AI inside Naosuu

Detection is performed by deterministic rules — regex patterns with checksum validation — and a local NLP library that runs entirely inside your browser tab, the same way a spell-checker works. There is no machine learning model making calls to any external service.

Your prompts never leave your device unredacted

Sensitive values are replaced with placeholders before the prompt is submitted to any AI platform. The substitution happens in your browser tab using local JavaScript. No version of your original prompt — with real names, SSNs, or case numbers — is ever transmitted anywhere.

Naosuu's servers never see your data

The only data Naosuu's server receives while you are using our extension is your email address and a license status flag. That is the entirety of server communication. When you subscribe, Naosuu receives your first name, last name, and email address through Stripe.

The placeholder map is session-only

The table that maps [PERSON_1] back to 'Bruce Wayne' is stored in browser session storage — a temporary memory space that is wiped automatically when you close the tab. It is never written to disk, never synced, and never transmitted anywhere.

Documents are processed locally

When you upload a PDF or Word document, text extraction is performed by local libraries (pdf.js and mammoth.js) bundled inside the extension. The file bytes never leave your browser. No document content is transmitted to Naosuu or any third party.

Open to inspection

As a Chrome extension, Naosuu's code runs in your browser and can be inspected at any time. The network requests the extension makes are limited to: (1) the AI platform you are using, and (2) Naosuu's license validation endpoint — email and status only.
